The BIM technology has been rapidly embraced and has fundamentally changed the Construction Industry with its impacts on building quality, effectiveness on projects, and by providing solutions to environmental issues. The Informatics and Control Technologies Section of the IET Hong Kong (http://www.theiet.org/hongkong) is taking an initiative in organizing its technical Conference, the "BIM Forum 2019 — Emerging disruptive technologies and applications”, to provide a platform for the key professionals from government, industry and university researchers, and to share on the government policy, the latest development and applications on the BIM technologies.
